I choose and embrace a wholesome discipline
that expands my spirit endlessly.
Show me everyday
that there is more available to me;
broader love,
infinite abundance,
deeper truth,
stronger connection,
tighter belonging,
serener acceptance.
Remove from my thinking
the limitations, blind spots and complacencies,
that I may always be curious and teachable,
that I remain willing to change
and refine my outlook on the world.
Have me know in my heart
that they are no mistakes, no faults and no conditions
to my being me, to my being here:
There are only experiences I can face and overcome,
and practices, I can deepen and outgrow.
Call me to the practice day after day,
of what I know to be true, helpful and kind,
of what I know connects me to all that is,
and all that can be.
Call me to the practice of doing what I can,
no more no less,
even when the path is dark
and the destination uncertain.
Let me be a candle in the dark.
