Infinity

Let go of limited beliefs

The Situation

The universe is infinite and abundant, it is inclusive and diverse, it comprehends everything - not just what we believe is sacred.

Contrast, complementarity, full spectrum, extremes and balance all speak to the totality of things, the needlessness of exclusion, of single-mindedness.
Someone’s right is someone else’s wrong, someone’s luck is someone else’s hell.

We are all parts of a whole that is inside us, we all have access to universal wisdom, serendipity, connection, that gives us everything - but that we can’t own.

Our gifts are meant to come from inside out, along with the means and opportunities to share. When we do, they make us one with the world, limitless. When we dare contain them, they keep us alone in the world.

Changing Lines

No Changing Line

Minutia and details add up to a grand ensemble, which takes incommensurable work to attend to.

Each piece of the ensemble caters to its own needs, awakening the lot organically, shaping invisible laws, of which all we know is the outcome; continuous adaptation and expansion of an ever evolving organism in which we belong but can only know by looking in.

Line 1 - SACRED BONDS

Some encounters, with people, place and things change the course of our lives.

They may last a moment or last for always, they may elicit love, inspiration, dedication or following, they will stay with us as a presence, indefinitely.

We don’t know why specific things or people are so infinitely sacred to us when all is paramount to the creation, but we know that it can’t be undone, and it’s never a mistake to embrace and honour these bonds.

Line 2 - NO BULLDOZING

Power is the key to abuse. It is almost a given that making use of power equates steamrolling those less mighty.
When abundance rockets us on a winning path, we can feel comfortable charging ahead, oblivious to our entourage or what we leave in our trail.

This misplaced confidence can only arouse fear, defiance and distrust, turn away those we once inspired.

Our effort then must turn to rallying, including, listening, or more poetically, share in the abundance.

Line 3 - GRASP FREEWILL

With all that abundance promises, one thing it is sure to deliver on is overwhelm, the plethora of choice, information and possible allegiance that keeps our head spinning.

Infinite options and territories mean choice equates missing out on everything else… Yet not choosing means having nothing, forfeiting our power to take action, find support or pledge our resources.

Freewill is the shock to our system, the yang to the yin of infinity. We are not quite awake - or alive - until we grasp that infinity means we have choices to make.

Line 4 - MYSTERIOUS WAYS

The laws underlying life, the universe and everything are essentially impossible to grasp in their magnitude and intricacy.

A dive into cosmology, biology or any science, is cause for awe and wonder, a measuring of how much we don’t know.

In the dark blurriness of mystery, anything we do see is a glimpse of the vast forces at play.

Just like the stars evoke the bewildering extent of the universe without allowing comprehension, each of our experiences of cosmic laws shows us the infinite and intelligent nature of the Creation, if we are willing to see.

Line 5 - ENDLESS GROWTH

Inevitable learning and experience pushes us down a bettering path.

We can resist and rebel, at the cost of great pain, but if we are brave enough to plod or skip along, we’ll become someone we want to meet.

Our growth is not a price we pay, it is a gift to the world, a minute expansion of the universe. There is no overdoing, no growing into separateness.

As we learn, dare and change, we make the world better.

Line 6 - INNER ABUNDANCE

Through us runs the whole of Creation, of which we are part, governed by the same laws that govern everything.

When we look at the universe as being outside of us, we can only feel small, powerless and useless, and if we are unfortunate enough to have the means to fight, we may try to “extend” ourselves outwardly, by accumulating wealth, power, and defences that keep us safer - protected from the world… and separate, unseen and blind.

When we know the universe is inside us, limitations dissolve.
